She had a point about Miles and his lack of sleep, but he was used to it, even if he wasn't as young as he used to be. He had a few more hours in him, at least, needed to see Bass before he slept anyway. But he could at least get by on a little bit, and he could sleep tomorrow once Charlie was awake again to watch Bass.

"Yes, ma'am," he said dryly, casting a glance at Jeremy who nodded his agreement.
